Does anyone know what style of kung fu was used by the chinese nationalist army?

i watched a video clip where they mentioned it but i couldn't figure out how to pronounce it i know it is china's most popular form of kung fu.|||All members of the Chinese Military are in Chin Na, in addition to other styles. I am unsure which the others are.|||Not sure why it is stuck inmy head, but I seen a show once on the military or police there using wing-do. May want to check on that.
