Was Master Po breaking the rules when he taught Kung Fu to a non Chinese person?

I don't know who Master Po is, other than the character from the original Kung fu series, who taugh Cane when he was young at the shaolin monastery

He was killed by the the emperor's nephew (I don't remember why), and Cane retaliated by killing him.|||Yes he was, he was breaking the traditional rules, for which the penalty could be death. In the old days deadly or winning techniques and strategies were vital to survive or win battles of combat. They were kept as secret as possible to surprise the enemy so that there would be no prepared counter.

In the Boxer Rebellion when European governments, their traders and soldiers enforced the buying of opium on the Chinese population, the majority of the Chinese people did not have guns and could only fight back with their special skills in martial arts. The Chinese lost the war but did not lose their honour.

The physical side of the martial arts are not commonly useful (except in fitness and emotional control) in modern combat where killing is mainly at a distance with guns and bombs. However in close quarters such as hand-to-hand fighting or stealth or commando situations the martial arts provide a wealth of advantages.

National pride has always led to bias against other races whether on is French, German, British or Chinese, preference is always given to those whom you know and understand. You will notice that, politically, the Chinese are Chinese First, and Communists Second. That has allowed them to be flexible in adapting their political decisions to a changing environment. More so than the Russians, who chose system over society, being Communist first and Russian second; and being inflexible, failed to arouse the pride and enthusiasm of their citizens, ending in an end of the Empire of their system. Systems can only be maintained by the fervent desire and willing consent of the people they are imposed upon.|||Whos Master Po? MA schools are businesses. "Gwailo" are taught Kung Fu all over the world even in China. The Shaolin Temple used to opposed teaching outsiders but now they welcome everyone. Anyone can pretty much learn any Kung Fu they want if they have the money. Bruce Lee was one of the first to openly teach non chinese people.|||no he didnt break the rules since kwai chang caine was half chinese, his mom was chinese
