Sanda has a greater focus in training on take downs. It'll depend on what the rules of the competition are and if they are non-biased.
Sanda and Muay Thai are similar enough that it'll be a contest of fighters rather than styles.|||Watch the Television Show 'World Combat League', where fighters constantly compare these and about five other fighting styles. They also have a website I guess.

|||the one that recieves better instruction and trained harder. sometimes, the team that also "gets lucky" (for example, one member of the opposition team comes in half sick or one of the adjudicators are biased towards one style or one person)
seriously, this question has been asked so many times. there is NO better style. each style has its pros and cons and thats why most professional fighters today cross train :P|||Muay thai|||Tell us in a week =P
